Cotteswold Dairy Ltd
Cotteswold Dairy is an independent family dairy business based in Tewkesbury. The company sources milk from over 40 family farms in the local community and supplies its range of milk and cream products, along with a selection of other goods, to customers across England and Wales. Founded by Harry Workman in 1938, with a 30 gallon a day milk round, the business is now run by his grandson George and processes almost 2 million litres a week. As well as supplying milk in various types, sizes and packaging to wholesalers, semi retail customers and other independent milkmen across the country, the dairy still continues to deliver milk in traditional glass bottles to the doorstep by electric floats.
CCP is doing vital work to support the vulnerable members of society through the many initiatives that it is involved in. Many people have been helped by CCP and have been given opportunities that have made a difference to their lives. We have been pleased to provide some support in the past and will continue to do so in the future.Louise Woodward
How did you come across CCP?
We have supported CCP at various times over recent years, including donations and supporting collections for Hamper Scamper
Describe how you have supported CCP in 2020-21
We have supported CCP during the last year by donating some funds which we raised through our staff charity Tuck Shop. Our staff nominate different charities to benefit from the proceeds of this and it was felt the CCP would value this support as Covid would be particularly challenging time for them. During the past year we have continued to donate any spare products we have had that we would rather see used than wasted, this has included milk, bread and butter.
