We want to make sure that children, young people and families receive support at the right time, in the right place, in the right way. CCP are able to offer a flexible family support service that compliments our targeted family support services and can intervene at an earlier stage. This will prevent issues becoming entrenched and families needing higher level services.

Describe your partnership with CCP and how they support your organisation
CCP run a supported housing service in Yate for homeless young people aged 16-25. They support young people to achieve their goals and set them up for their future lives. They go above and beyond for the young people in service who are at the centre of everything they do. Although having only been in contract with us for a year strong partnerships are already embedded allowing us to give young people the best possible chance of success.

Early Help means getting timely and effective support to children, young people, and families who need it. It aims to enable children to flourish and to prevent long term and damaging outcomes. Early Help refers both to help in the critical early years of a child’s life (including pre-birth and pregnancy), but also to responding as soon as possible, at any age through childhood and adolescence when difficulties emerge. CCP are supporting our Early Help Strategy 2019-24 by providing support to families at a “Universal Plus” level in order to:
-Provide support at an early point and reduce the need for higher level services.
-Embrace a strengths based, whole-family approach to finding sustainable solutions.
-Support the concept that family, friends and community can be the most effective and sustainable forces of “help”.
